Next Evolution of Mobile Data? The 5G!

The next evolution of mobile data could be the last step-change we see in mobile data transmission. Mobile data use has rocketed over the past five years – increasing 74 per cent alone in 2015 – taking the overall global figure to around 3.7 exabytes per month. A filing with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US recently revealed Apple is testing next-generation, 5G wireless technologies, suggesting a future iPhone will run on the advanced connection. A North Korean techcnology firm Ryonghung has now launched a new tablet called the 'iPad'. Apple’s trademark guidelines prohibit any unauthorized use of its content. The Ryonghung iPad is equipped with 1 gigabyte of RAM and just 8GB storage The Ryonghung iPad has been designed to let users read the news, work on documents and use more than 40 pre-installed apps, including one that can d iagnose 1,200 ailments and suggest remedies. I ts name appears to be a clear violation of the company’s trademark and an insider says it's unlikely that the firm will take action.  ‘You may not use or register, in whole or in part, Apple, iPod, iTunes, Macintosh, iMac, or any other Apple trademark,’ the guidelines state, ‘including Apple-owned graphic symbols, logos, icons, or an alteration thereof, as or as part of a company name, trade name, product name, or service name except as specifically noted in these guidelines.’ In the past, North Korea has also released an operating syst
